BTS played four sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on September 1, 2, 5, and 6, 2026, as part of their ARIRANG World Tour — the group’s first Southern California appearances since December 2021 and their first live shows since completing mandatory military service in South Korea. The run closed out the second North American leg of the tour before it heads to Latin America in October.

The tour supports ARIRANG, BTS’s tenth studio album, produced across a roster of collaborators that includes Diplo, Flume, and Ryan Tedder. Roughly half of the 23-song setlist draws from the new record, with the rest pulled from Love Yourself: Answer, Proof, and earlier fan favorites. The performance of “Body to Body,” which samples the folk song the album is named after, has been noted by critics as the clearest expression of the album’s attempt to bring a distinctly Korean reference point into a stadium-pop format built for global audiences.

The opening night carried extra significance, falling on member Jungkook’s 29th birthday. The celebration began at soundcheck, with the rest of the group singing to him before doors opened, and continued through the encore, when Jimin made sure Jungkook was the last member visible as the band left the stage.

Since launching in April 2026 in Goyang, South Korea, the ARIRANG World Tour has grown into BTS’s largest run to date, spanning 88 shows across 34 cities and 23 countries through March 2027 — a scale that reflects both the group’s post-hiatus momentum and the global reach ARIRANG has had commercially, including topping album charts in the UK, Germany, and France.
